I joined Ovum in 2000 and have worked for a total of 7 years in the industry. I was previously manager of Broadband Content@Ovum helping to lead our initial research in this area. From 2005 to 2007 I worked in a Senior Strategy role for Cancer Research UK, focusing on strategic positioning and the use of technology in fundraising and marketing.
I now focus on the development of next-generation broadband within the context of the evolution of service provider business models and the wider economic business case for broadband. Based in France, with a focus on Europe, I have been involved in a number of detailed studies analysing how broadband is evolving in different markets. I was also part of Ovum’s 2020 team which produced a series of reports outlining how telecoms will develop over the next decade and what this means for telcos.
I was a lead author of the FTTH commissioned report on the socio-economic benefits of broadband. This was published in early 2009 and has been referenced frequently by the council and its members since then.
